BioMy 'RL' lj, which I update--sporadically, obsess over tattoos, rats, ferrets, the crow, and put my random musings and thoughts onto screen.
I am 26 years old and have a BA in Creative Writing, and an MA by Research in Creative Writing.
I like to write Horror/Urban Fantasy, but lately I've taken to writing cult fiction. There's just something fresh, gritty, and exciting about cult fiction, and I need to explore it.
I've had short stories and artwork published in local magazines and Mercia Ferret Welfare (save the ferrets!)
I am always in the process of writing The Novel, but ending TN is forever a problem. I'm working on that right now.
I am a devoted slave to 5 ferrets and 48 African Land Snails, and even though I don't have pet rats any longer I have not forgotten them (indeed, I think my heart is still rat shaped!)
James O'Barr is my hero, and The Crow is my one true love! I adore the Finnish band H.I.M with proud fangirl enthusiasm, and have named my electric guitar after Lily Lazer, their guitarist!
I also recently discovered the English band My Passion while they toured with Kill Hannah, and for the first time since I heard my very first track by H.I.M (Don't Fear) the Reaper, music has come alive again. Although nothing like H.I.M, My Passion are an amazing band whose sound is hard to pin point, although Laurence did call themselves an electro-goth-punk rock band when I saw them last. I like that.
